The Y.A.L.E. School Cherry Hill campus offers an Extended School Year (ESY) program during the months of July and August. Students who are enrolled in the Social Learning programs at the Cherry Hill, Medford or Mansfield Township campuses during the regular school year are eligible to attend ESY at Cherry Hill. This full day, Monday through Friday program provides a healthy balance of academic enrichment, social opportunities, and skill enhancement. The high school program also offers discussion and research of pertinent transitional topics with weekly sessions that include classroom instruction, guest speakers, and community based trips.
The ESY program is overseen by Y.A.L.E.’s certified administrative staff and school psychologists as well as staffed by teachers and teaching assistants from the Cherry Hill, Medford and Mansfield Township campuses. Included in the ESY program are regular visits to a nearby community pool for swimming and numerous outdoor activities such as team sports and Field Day.
